Ironridge Vision Statement
To build and multiply Christian Communities that reach a new people for Christ and Disciple them to become fully committed followers
Our Vision Statement is broken down into three parts which have significant meanings to what our ministry is trying to accomplish:
To build and multiply Christian communities: As the settlers of Iowa first settled here, much of what they brought with them was useless or used in the creation of something else. Their new land needed new ideas and methods. Thus, most of what was developed was ‘born out of necessity’. The post-modern day settlers in this new America will build and multiply churches to reach a new people out of necessity that their friends and families have the same sense of community God has given them. Again, church planting will become a personal passion of these people.
Reach a new people for Christ: Simply put, Evangelism. The church gatherings and services will give opportunity to come to the knowledge of life in Christ. We will also help people to reach out to others by enabling them to see, that where God has them in their daily life is where their ministry is and that God wishes to use them powerfully in this world.
Disciple them to become fully committed followers: The adventure of life is not over once you have come to know Christ. It has just begun, and growing to maturity in Christ is the path. There is nothing boring about being a ‘Christ Follower.’ Being fully committed is the adventure.
Next Time we will talk about what we value at Ironridge
